We often go through life experiencing challenges that are unique to our own personal relationships, schooling/careers, self-discovery/development, or spiritual/religious journeys. It is with this understanding that mental health issues and life’s emotional struggles can be personalised to each and every individual, understood and emphasised from your particular point of view. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and/or vocational challenges can all interconnect and weave together to form a complex yet complicated picture of your particular struggles.
My approach to therapy is to try and get a “bigger picture” of what is going on. It is through a relational approach to therapy that I establish a trusting and strong relationship with my clients in order to affect meaningful change.
As a therapist, I understand that it’s not easy to discuss your “problems” with a complete stranger. I ask that you give therapy a try – you might be surprised at your ability to open up and experience a meaningful change by feeling heard, validated, and supported without judgement.
